Local Realtor Achieves National Recognition
Joy Moore has been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation
(ABR) Designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, Inc.
(REBAC).
“Today’s real estate brokers and agents want to provide a full menu of services for their clients, whether they are buyers or sellers” explains Terrence M. McDermott, President and CEO of
REBAC. “The ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation, demonstrates to clients that the agent has taken steps to continue their education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers.”
Ms. Moore joins more than 30,000 real estate professional in North America who have earned the ABR designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.

JOY MOORE IS ELECTED AS THE NEW GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER FOR SFD
Joy Moore, received the highest number of votes cast in this General Election held in Yavapai County, for the Office of Board Member for the Sedona Fire District! Ms. Moore now sits on the Governing Board for the Sedona Fire District in Sedona Arizona. She was sworn in on November 16, 2005 at the monthly Board meeting, and has been making positive changes ever since!
In her first Board Meeting in December 2004, she motioned for
and approved (along with the Governing Board) a Proposal that will bring 20 Defibrillators to the Sedona Area, kicking it up a notch and approving year 2 of the Proposal. These defibrillators will be located at such places as: Sedona City Hall, in Sedona Police vehicles (3), Sedona Community Swimming pool, West Sedona School, Sedona Red Rock High School, Big Park School, Yavapai College & Sedona Center, Slide Rock State Park, Red Rock State Park, Sedona Teen Center, Adult Community Center, Oak Creek Country Clubhouse, Sedona Shadows Clubhouse, Sunset Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, Sedona Airport Terminal, Sedona Elks Lodge and the USFS
Palatki. Within the next 2 years, even more defibrillators will be placed in private businesses as requested, such as Bashes, Safeway, Webers and more! For more information on this program, you can call the Sedona Fire District office at (928)282-6800.
